Welcome to Babbels 👋

With the Babbels app you communicate with your customers via WhatsApp (Business), within your familiar Microsoft Teams environment. This document provides step-by-step instructions for using Babbels.
Babbel's app

The Babbels application is built into your Teams application. You will see it in the left menu of Teams.

As soon as you open the application you will see 3 tabs:

My Inbox:
This tab shows all messages specifically assigned to you. It is your personal inbox within the Babbels application, where you can immediately see and manage the messages that require your attention.

All messages: Here you will find an overview of all messages received within the company via WhatsApp. This tab provides an overview and is useful for monitoring all customer interactions, regardless of who they are assigned to and their status.

Active messages: This tab focuses on all active messages from the past 24 hours. It helps you manage and pick up active conversations. By focusing on active messages, you can ensure that no important message is overlooked.

Babbel's interface

Babbels has a number of important functions that ensure that you can communicate optimally with your customers:

Have a conversation: If the recipient responds to your template message, or initiates a conversation himself, you can send and receive messages, images, documents via the well-known conversation window.
Pin and archive conversations: Click on the three dots when you hover your mouse over a recipient and choose 'Pin' or 'Archive'. You can pin important conversations to the top of your screen using the pin function. Has your conversation been processed and do you no longer want it visible? Then you can archive the conversation. If the person sends a new message, the conversation is automatically removed from the archive.
Download archive: You can easily make calls: click on the three dots when you hover your mouse over a recipient and choose 'Download'. The full conversation will now be downloaded to your computer as a PDF file.
Assigning users: A user must be assigned to the call before a call can be made. You can continuously assign conversations to other users, ensuring that messages are handled by the most appropriate person or department. You can assign users via the three dots when you hover your mouse over a recipient and click on 'Assign'.
Send messages: To initiate a new conversation, or if your conversation was more than 24 hours ago, you can send a so-called template message. This is a pre-approved message template from WhatsApp. The use of template messages is required by WhatsApp to comply with guidelines and policies. You can choose from different template messages, you just have to enter the variables. This is often, in addition to the contact details, the recipient's (nickname) name, the subject and your name.
